Village Passes Water Softener Ordinance

To meet permitted chloride limits in wastewater effluent, the Village of St. Nazianz has changed an ordinance relating to water softeners. Clicking on the link, Controlling Water and Sewer Rates will take you to a letter describing how you can help the village reduce its operating costs for the wastewater treatment plant. This is important because it's safe to say none of the residents want to pay higher sewer and water bills. This is followed by the new ordinance and a list of water softener dealers/plumbers you can contact for the necessary inspection.
